school starts tomorrow. that's weird. i want my sleep. summer wasn't anything special, nothing really memorable happened, at least to me. blehh. i really should do more with my summer's. the last two have been crap. granted, the last two were the only summers spent IN fremont but i should still do more. hopefully next summer imma be in either a) some summer program at a college or b) in lima. hahaha it's nice to dream. junior year's gonna be a bitch. next entry will most definitely have me wishing it were the start of summer. shit, i wish it were the start of summer right now. im going to stop ranting.

but here again i have more rants/complaints. are we (ahs c/o 07) even having a class trip, either junior or senior year? probably not cause all, or most, of the kids want to go to mexico to get drunk since they can't hold their alcohol and lack self-control. parents aren't retarded about these types of things. i just brought this up because my friends (roosevelt c/o 07) are going to Bavaro... thats in Dominican Republic for their junior class trip during thanksgiving break. why can't we do that? because now i feel i'm hell of missing out on something. hold on, nevermind, i always feel like that so scratch that, but this is something big. yea, i was trying to work out a way to go with the help of some friends but i'd have to pay for airfare+hotel+other stuff. that's not gonna work, especially cause i don't have a job. this leads me to a very simple conclusion- being poor sucks. yup, no back to school shopping for me. blehhh.

don't know what else to say. but im absolutely dreading this school year. oh well, imma nail this sucker.

ICC= inter class competition. its like spirit week but so much bigger. apart from dance you actually play sports against the other grades and do stuff like knowledge bowl. MY BIASED opinion says that the junior one is better (taxi), its more visually appealing because of the dots. the sophomore one (far left) is completely coppied frm the ipod ads. bitters. they should get docked for that.

you get sweatshirts too! how awesome is that? i still have to claim my frosh n sophmore yr sweatshirts. i made sure they had an extra for me =] oh yea, doesnt the campus look perrty?

most girls from my old school are on the skinny side. the pressures of financially well off people. hahaha. i think thats where my sister started her whole paranoia about weight. she's not big, she's a size 5, but most of them are well.. smaller than that. they're still well fed, though. just healthy food. and did i mention about mickey d's size portions? when you order a meal here regular fries are large fries over there. completely crazy. thats why foreigners say americans are big. (no offense intended, just mentioning facts)

why cant american have this much spirit. for ICC people go all out, its fun. i watched some of when my sisters where in high school (cuz they let elementary kids off an hour before high and middle school). icc is usually held for a week, and it starts after lunch.during 8th grade they take you so you know what to expect next year. fun stuff. every single person is into it, i guess its easier cause grades only have about 100 people so its easy to get everyone involved. sighs. i miss that stuff. so there goes some peruvianess for you. if i get a part time job at rick's im saving for a trip to peru to my aunt's wedding (in april) so i can see my buddies!

since my sister is moving back (the one who's in maryland) in december/january she's shipping some of her stuff over. mainly books/cd's/ extra stuff. went over her cd collection. she's got a whole bunch of songs that came out when i was in elementary/starting middle school. listening to it made me reminisce about the good old times. can you say nostalgia?

im glad i saw people at tina's get together. haven't seen some of them since school was out. at first it was awkward but then it got better. except for some things, but i knew that was going to happen. oh yea, i didnt know so many people like cody. weird.

for some reason i was really annoyed today. boredom? i happens to me whenever i'm extremely bored, i become restless and easily irritated. blehh.

frisco next monday. mom needs to go to the peruvian consulate. holla if you wanna go. there's room for 3.

laguna beach is an incredibly addicting show. a guilty pleasure? well, i don't feel guilty about watching it, so it's just a pleasure.

my dad's leaving for peru the 17th, he won't be back until september 28th. that's an awful lot of time. i can't believe he's going to be in the same house as my sister since whenever he goes he stays with another uncle. sister gets deported the 21st. that sounds bad. no, she's not some sort of criminal/drug dealer but if she were she'd be richer. jp. she doesnt have a residency and her student visa is up since she's not going to get a phd, at least for now. so since she's not studying she has to go back. that sucks. imma miss her even tho she lives in DC, so i dont see her anyways.

shopping for sammi brown was easier than i thought. yipee. i think she'll like the gift.

found my old guns n roses cd. i still remember the 8th graders (when i was in 7th) playing paradise city and knockin on heaven's door the last day of school. that was awesome. good times at roosevelt.
